Public Works Department - PWD - New Contractors Registration

A.NEW REGISTRATION OF WORKS CONTRACTOR:

In respect of Class- IV Contractors, the amount of solvency certificate shall be fixed at Rs.10.00 lakhs instead of Rs.7.50 Lakhs

In respect of Class- V Contractors, i.e, upto Rs.50.00 lakhs, the solvency percentage proposed to be fixed at 15% of the value for which  the contractor submits application for registration. For Example, if a contractor submits application for registration for a value of Rs.20.00 Lakhs under Class-V, the solvency percentage at 15% of the value works out to Rs.3.00 lakhs

Registration under Class V is to be specified with monetary limits of Contract value based on the value of solvency produced.

The registered Contractors are eligible to take works in the lower classes also.

The contractor shall continue to produce a new Solvency Certificate from Revenue authorities.

All classes of contractor should furnish latest income Tax assessment order.

All the Contractor should furnish latest income tax assessment order.

The contractor in case of Company or corporate firm seeking registration, they should furnishable copy of its latest auditor’s annual report and partnership Deed also.

However Partnership firms / Individuals shall have satisfactorily completed the building works of value as furnished in the table.

 B.Class

Class IA - Monetary value above Rs.25.00 Crores (Above Rupees Twenty Five Crores) only

Class I   - Monetary value above Rs.10.00 Crores and upto 25.00 Crores (Above Rupees Ten Crores and upto Twenty five Crores) only

Class II  - Monetary value above Rs.5.00 Crores and upto 10.00 Crores (Above Rupees Five Crores and upto Ten Crores) only

Class III - Monetary value above Rs2.00 Crores and upto 5.00 Crores (Above Rupees Two Crores and upto five Crores) only

Class IV - Monetary value above Rs.50.00 Lakhs and upto 2.00 Crores (Above Rupees Fifty Lakhs and upto Two Crores) only

Class V  - Monetary value upto 50.00 Lakhs (Value Upto Fifty lakhs) only

5. Previous Experience Certificate in the construction Activities for past 4 years

6. Latest Online Solvency Certificate

8. Audit Account Statement and Annual Report

9. Partnership Deed

10. Registration of Partnership firm ( Form - C)

11. Technical Details

12. Current Year Auditor Certificate

13. Bank Statement

15. Details of Bank Account along eith transaction for last 2 years

16. Memorandum of Articles

17. Declaration to be furnished by the Contractor / Firm

18. Declaration to be furnished by the Labour Contractor Co-operatives Socueties
