Public Works Department - PWD - New Contractors Registration A.NEW REGISTRATION OF WORKS CONTRACTOR: In respect of Class- IV Contractors, the amount of solvency certificate shall be fixed at Rs.10.00 lakhs instead of Rs.7.50 Lakhs In respect of Class- V Contractors, i.e, upto Rs.50.00 lakhs, the solvency percentage proposed to be fixed at 15% of the value for which the contractor submits application for registration. For Example, if a contractor submits application for registration for a value of Rs.20.00 Lakhs under Class-V, the solvency percentage at 15% of the value works out to Rs.3.00 lakhs Registration under Class V is to be specified with monetary limits of Contract value based on the value of solvency produced.
